Our Ceramic

  • Manufacturing process = Pressing 
  • Zirconia powder ‘ZrO2’ medium size = 0,5 – 1,0 μm 
  • Chemical composition and concentration: 
    • ZrO2 = 94,30 % 
    • Y2O3 = 5,35 % 
    • Al2O3 = 0,20 % 
    • H2O = 0,10 % 
    • Others = 0,05 % 
  • K1C (strength coefficient) _Black = 8,3 MPa*m1/2 
  • K1C (strength coefficient) _ White = 7,83 MPa*m1/2 
  • K1C (strength coefficient) _ Grey = 5,75 MPa*m1/2 
  • Density Average = 5,9 g/cm3 
  • Average Vickers Hardness = 1'200 HV

Our Cermet

  • The Cermet is an alloy composed of a metal matrix and a ceramic reinforcement. 
  • Manufacturing process = By pressing 
  • Chemical composition and concentration = TiC + TiN + Oxides (Nickel Free). 
  • Colors availability = Dark Grey - Dark Brown - Yellow/Bronze 
  • Average Density = 4.1 g/cm3 
  • Average Vickers Hardness = 1'450 HV

Our injected composite “Dexelite”

  • The Dexelite is a composite with a mixture of Epoxy resin and carbon or glass powder. 
  • Black color = 60% Epoxy resin and 40% carbon powder 
  • Other colors = 50% Epoxy resin and 50% glass powder 
  • Average density = 1,2 g/cm3 
  • Average Vickers hardness = Not applicable 
  • Inert and hypoallergenic. 
  • Highly resistant to chemicals products, UVs rays and humidity.

Our pressed Composite

  • The pressed carbon is a composite of 95% carbon fiber and 5% organic binder. 
  • Process = Obtained by pressing at high temperature and high pressure for better density and machinability, even for the most complicated shapes. 
  • The carbon fiber is compressed under 2 tons/cm2 at 160°C for 30 minutes. 
  • Colors = 
    • The black color is obtained by adding carbon fiber. 
    • The other colors are obtained by adding glass fibers. 
  • Inert and hypoallergenic, without any harmful damage. 
  • Highly resistant to chemicals products, UVs rays and humidity. 
  • Average density = 1,2 g/cm3 
  • Average Vickers hardness = Not applicable 
  • The addition of fiber (carbon or glass) increases rigidity, tensile strength, compression strength and torsional rigidity, with very good surface roughness. 
  • The pressed composite is approximately 100x stronger than steel.
